Employees as owners of products and orders Module



With this module, you can assign one or more employees as owners of selected product or order, who will have access to this product or order. Order could be automatically owned by owners of ordered products and owners could be notified by email.

What this module does for you

If you need to set access to products or orders to some employees, you can use this module for that. As Superadmin you have access to all order and products and you can select one or more another employees as owners of products or orders. You can also set access to all employees or only to superadmins to each product or order. If some employee create product, he is automatically owner of this product. In module configuration you can set, that after every placed order is order automatically owner by employees, who own products from this order. Also if you want, after placed order is send email notification to employee, with list of his products, which was ordered.


This module is easy to install. An installation help manual is included in the download file.


You can login as superadmin and set owners of products and order with login:
   Email address: demo@demo.com
Password: demodemo

And you can login as normal employees with this login:
   Email address: jimbeam@gmail.com
Password: password
   Email address: jonniewalker@gmail.com
Password: password


In confuguration settings you can select:
  • Automatically action after placed order
  • After the execution of order, order is automatically owned by employees who own products from this order
  • After the execution of order, order is automatically owned by all employees
  • After the execution of order, order is automatically owned by superadmins
  • If will send email notification to employee if somebody buy his product
  • If is allow for all employees see also foreign products but in read only mode
  • If is allow for all employees see also foreign orders but in read only mode
From version 1.2.0, you can order by product or order owners and you can also search by product or order owners. You can even set owners for more products or orders in one bulk action.
